Ron Samson is a native Southern Californian. Although born in California, he spent the majority of his youth growing up in Southwest Oklahoma. Ron returned to Southern California to attend California State University Long Beach and received his Baccalaureate degree in Athletic Training. Upon graduation, Ron then entered into a Master’s of Education program in Kinesiology at the University of Texas at Tyler. After completing of his Master’s Degree Ron and his family relocated back to Southern California where they have remained since 2007. 

Ron has been practicing as a Certified Athletic Trainer since 2003. Since certification he has worked in the high school setting, collegiate setting (both 2 years and 4 years), clinical setting, and the industrial/corporate settings. Ron has also had the privilege of working training sessions for USA Tennis, USA Volleyball Men’s National Sitting Team, and USA Volleyball Girls National Team.

Dr. Luke Bailey begins his third year as Pacifica Christian's in-house Physical Therapist. Dr. Bailey believes in the importance of examining and studying human movement in order to optimize it for a sustainable and healthy athletic career. His work in sports medicine comes from a desire to help people and their bodies through the healing process, using physical therapy as a tool,  in the hopes of getting them back to playing and competing as soon as possible. On top of Physical Therapy, Dr. Bailey teaches Kinesiology and Honors Anatomy & Physiology, both introduction classes for those wanting to get into the Sports Medicine field.
